Coming into existence originally as a source for independent media soundtracks, Dubpixel (aka Doug Kallmeyer) draws from years of international live mixing work to expand on the dub mixer’s aesthetic toward audio to include video. Live performances range from hypnotic to nearly seizure inducing, a direct reflection of the American experience of technology, consumption & capitalism”
